so soap and glory attempted skincare

not impressed, let's start w/ that.

the cleanser ain't the hottest thing out there, i bought it as a replacement for cleansing oil and it just doesn't remove makeup as well so i gotta throw a micellair water into the mix. works gr8 as a morning cleanser though, it says it's a 4-in-1 but i wouldn't read too much into that cause one of the claims is "energizes" and like honestly wtf does that even mean
smells a bit funky too

the exfoliator hasn't got huge chunks of shit in it à la st ives but instead is way more gentle and leaves your skin soo smooth and soft. also it contains salicylic acid which as we all know is really good for some reason BUT my skin just doesn't agree with something in this & made my skin break out hella bad. if your skin isn't an overly sensitive whiny asshole like mine is you might like this (but i'd have half of lush's skincare range on standby just in case)

  2. I usually stay away from the skincare Soap and Glory do even though I love their bodycare and makeup! I used a few products years ago when it was in the pink packaging and it was just too heavily scented for me! I'm using their Speed Plump moisturiser at the minute and it's just OK!

  5. Oh my god I had an outbreak of spots from using Soap and Glory skincare, they have amazing moisturisers, bubble bath stuff but not skin care. Totally agree with your comments and I am following you on bloglovin.

  7. Shame the exfoliator didn't work out for you as I like how gentle it sounds. I'm a big Soap and Glory fan and really like their Ultimelt cleanser so I would probably like both of these too :)

  8. I've never heard great things about the cleanser. LOL @ 'energising'. I do love when brands add useless buzzwords to sell their products!

  10. I used Peaches and Clean over the summer and I did quite like it, but not to remove make-up - I was always quite nervous about putting it near my eyes! It's a shame your skin doesn't agree with the exfoliator xx
